Account Information:

• Authentication data provided through Replit (username, email, profile image)
• We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Replit's secure login system

Usage Data:

• Prompts you submit for optimization
• Optimized outputs generated by the Service
• Optimization history and prompt quality scores
• Monthly usage counts for plan limit tracking
• Prompt Memories you create (Pro tier)

Payment Information:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe
• We store your Stripe customer ID and plan identifier for billing management
• We never store credit card numbers, CVVs, or full payment details on our servers

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the prompt optimization service
• To process and optimize your prompts through our AI pipeline
• To manage your plan and enforce usage limits
• To maintain your optimization history
• To automatically extract patterns from successful optimizations (Pro tier Prompt Memories) and store them in your account to personalize future results — you can view, edit, and delete these at any time
• To communicate service updates or respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or prompt content with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. AI Processing & Third-Party Services

Your prompts are processed using industry-leading AI models via their secure APIs. When you submit a prompt:

• Your prompt content is sent to AI model providers for processing as part of our optimization pipeline
• We use AI APIs under data usage policies that explicitly exclude customer data from model training
• Your prompts are not stored or retained by AI providers beyond the time needed to generate a response

Other third-party services we use:

• AI model providers: Prompt processing and optimization (operating under strict API data usage policies)
• Stripe: Payment processing and billing management
• Replit: Authentication and application hosting
• Secure cloud database: Storage for account and optimization data

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Secure authentication through Replit's OAuth system
• Database access controls and encrypted connections
• Stripe's PCI-compliant payment processing

While we take security seriously, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Data Retention

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active
• Optimization history is stored indefinitely for your reference
• Monthly usage counters reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC)
• If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use minimal cookies and local storage:

• Session cookies: Required for authentication (essential, cannot be disabled)
• Local storage: Used to save your interface preferences (theme, default Prism Mode)

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

8. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection law (including GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored in the Service
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Delete your optimization history
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Cancel your plan at any time

Prompt Kaizen is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
