Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Prompt Kaizen.

Getting Started

What is Prompt Kaizen?

Prompt Kaizen is a professional prompt optimization engine. You give it a rough or basic prompt, and it actively rewrites it into a clearer, more effective version that gets better results from any AI. Named after the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement, it goes far beyond templates or tips. Across 65+ real production runs, optimized prompts average an 84/100 quality score with a +43 point score lift — and short prompts gain an average of 34x more context and structure.

How is this different from other prompt tools?

Most prompt tools help you organize, version, or template prompts. Prompt Kaizen actively rewrites them. Your prompt goes through a proprietary multi-stage pipeline that analyzes intent, enriches context, stress-tests for weaknesses, and assembles a polished result scored across multiple quality dimensions. It's the difference between a spell checker and a professional editor.

How do I create an account?

Click 'Sign In' on the landing page. You'll authenticate through Replit — no separate registration, no passwords, no forms. Once signed in, you can start optimizing immediately.

What AI models does it work with?

The optimized prompts work with any AI tool — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Mistral, and more. A great prompt is model-agnostic. You can also specify a target model during optimization so the result is fine-tuned for that AI's specific strengths and patterns.

How It Works

What happens when I optimize a prompt?

Your prompt goes through a proprietary multi-stage pipeline. First, the system deeply analyzes your intent and identifies what's missing. Then it enriches the prompt with structure, constraints, and specificity matched to your chosen Prism Mode. Next, the result is stress-tested for weaknesses, ambiguities, and edge cases. Finally, a refined version is assembled and scored across four quality dimensions: clarity, structure, specificity, and redundancy. You can watch every step in real time. The whole process takes about a minute — and the average score lift is +43 points.

What are Prism Modes?

Prism Modes are specialized optimization lenses that tailor the entire pipeline for your specific domain. General Logic works for any prompt. Software Engineering focuses on technical precision, code structure, and implementation specs. Creative Writing enhances narrative flow, imagery, and storytelling. Business Strategy ensures professional tone, analytical rigor, and strategic framing. Education builds in reasoning steps, learning objectives, and pedagogical structure. Each mode produces noticeably different — and significantly better — results for its domain.

What is the Prompt Strength Score?

Every optimized prompt receives a quality score measured across four dimensions: Clarity (how unambiguous the instructions are), Structure (how well-organized the prompt is), Specificity (how detailed and precise it is), and Redundancy (whether it's concise without unnecessary repetition). You get a concrete, measurable quality metric — not a gut feeling. The average output score across 65+ production runs is 84/100.

Can I see my previous optimizations?

Yes. Users on a paid plan have full access to the History page — search, filter, and revisit any previous optimization. It becomes a growing library of your best prompts that you can reference, reuse, or re-optimize anytime.

Features

What is Concept Studio?

Concept Studio is an AI brainstorming tool for when you're stuck. Describe a topic or goal, and it generates tailored prompt ideas matched to your selected Prism Mode. Click any idea to start optimizing it immediately. It's the fastest way to go from a vague thought to a polished, high-quality prompt — without staring at a blank screen. Available on paid plans.

What is the Integrity Engine?

The Integrity Engine is a trust verification layer that audits every optimization for honesty. It catches fabricated assumptions — things the optimizer invented that weren't in your original prompt. It detects scope explosion — when a simple request gets bloated into something you never asked for. It flags prompt substitution — when the output replaces your intent instead of improving it. When problems are found, the Integrity Engine gates the output and shows you exactly what was flagged, with severity levels and a clear gating decision. You see what passed and what didn't before you ever use the result. Available on the highest-tier plan.

What is Batch Processing?

Batch Processing lets you submit multiple prompts at once for optimization. Instead of running them one by one, process an entire batch and get all results together. Built for teams, content workflows, and anyone who works with prompts at scale. Available on paid plans.

What are Prompt Memories?

Prompt Memories make the system learn your preferences over time. Save domain context, tone preferences, and working style — like 'I always want concise outputs' or 'I work in healthcare compliance' — and they automatically apply to every future optimization. The more you use it, the more personalized and accurate the results become. Available on paid plans.

Pricing & Credits

Is Prompt Kaizen free to use?

Yes. The Free tier gives you 5 optimizations per month plus 10 bonus credits on sign-up — with access to all five Prism Modes and full quality scoring. No credit card required. Need more? You can buy a credit pack any time, or check out the paid plans for higher monthly limits and premium features.

What are the paid plans?

Free gives you 5 optimizations/month (plus 10 bonus credits on sign-up) with all Prism Modes and quality scoring. Entry adds a higher monthly limit plus full optimization history, export/import, and Concept Studio. Pro gives you the highest limit and every feature — Integrity Engine, Batch Processing, and Prompt Memories. Visit the Pricing page for current rates.

What is a credit pack?

A credit pack is a one-time top-up of optimization credits you can buy without signing up for a plan. Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase and work on top of your monthly plan allowance. It's the fastest way to keep going when you hit your limit.

How do I get more optimizations?

You can buy a credit pack from the Pricing page for an instant top-up with no commitment, or choose a paid plan for a higher recurring monthly limit. After purchase your account updates immediately — no waiting, no manual activation.

Can I cancel my plan?

Yes, anytime. Go to the Pricing page and click 'Manage Plan' to access your billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then.

What payment methods are accepted?

All major credit and debit cards through Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and more. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported in compatible browsers.

When do my monthly limits reset?

Monthly optimization limits reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Unused monthly allowance does not roll over, but purchased credits are valid for 12 months from purchase.

Privacy & Security

Is my data safe?

Yes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payments are processed by Stripe (PCI-compliant). Authentication is handled securely through Replit's OAuth system. We never store credit card details on our servers. Your prompts are processed via secure AI APIs that do not retain or train on your data. If you use Prompt Memories (Pro), the system stores user-specific preferences and patterns within your account to personalize future optimizations — these are fully visible, editable, and deletable by you at any time.

Do you use my prompts to train AI models?

No. Your prompts and outputs belong to you. The AI services we use operate under API data usage policies that explicitly exclude customer data from model training. We do not sell or share your content with third parties. Pro users can enable Prompt Memories, which extract patterns from your successful optimizations and store them in your account to improve future results — this is per-user personalization within your own data, not AI model training. You have full control to view, edit, and delete any stored memories.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Delete individual optimizations from History, or use the 'Delete Account' option in the sidebar to permanently remove everything — optimizations, memories, feedback, and usage history. You can also contact us at promptkaizen@gmail.com for assistance with data requests.
